The end of the beginning
Tonight marks the end of the 'Induction' phase (essentially 'throw everything possible at destroying the cancer cells/mitigating side effects': ~ 20 different drugs & 3 blood transfusions).
Hiatus until the beginning of the middle
- next milestone is mid Nov when we'll know how successful the chemo has been.
- Side effects are likely to come in the next few weeks (such as fever, mouth ulcers, hair loss).
Praise God for:
- the time we've been able to spend with Selina. She's never read so many stories read to her!
- limited nasty side effects so far, esp being fever free
- help, gifts, prayers, videos received from friends, family, teachers, classmates, neighbours..... Everyone
- keeping the rest of us healthy
