We now wait.....

.....for infections and other side effects to come (which we pray will not!

.....for significant reductions in the number of cancerous cells (which we pray will come by her 17 Nov bone marrow test to measure this)

.....for improvements to her blood counts:

• platelets were massively down in her blood test today - which presents a big risk of continual bleeding should she get an injury - so a transfusion was performed)
• white blood cells down too, increasing her vulnerability to infections.

We're gradually finding out feet looking after a different kind of Selina.  The dietary requirements are very strict, making it particularly hard to work out food in between meals (has been a particular burden as her medication increases her appetite.

First taste of home-baked muffins (Selina could hardly believe she was 'allowed' to have them!
