Looking forward
Selina has a relatively stable course of treatment for the next 3 months. Hospital visits once a week for chemo into her central line. Another visit each week for a blood test. Significantly, no planned overnight stays.
Daily oral medication at home (a rather complicated schedule cycling three chemo medicines and two side effect treatments). Some days just one, others three in the morning and four in the evening.
Looking back
We give great thanks that Selina has got this far without suffering side effects to the degree we anticipated. Only two individual fever temperatures which went down quickly compared to others who've had multiple or prolonged stays fighting off infection. No mouth ulcers and only a little sickness straight after some chemo. We pray this may remain the case.
Family life
It should be a little easier with the absence of planned overnight stays and Yeda having a sabbatical from work for the entire phase.
