Expectations....exceeded

Consolidation has gone relatively well so far.

Selina has completed 3 of the 4 treatments in this phase (last one next week), with her blood counts recovering well after each round.  We thank God that she has also been spared nasty side-effects to date...although there is definitely a possibility of there being a delay between treatment and them coming on.

What has been particularly striking over the past month is her energy and positive attitude.  She is running around, jumping and being silly.  She is cooperative at bath times, when we need to apply cream around her line (she had an allergic reaction to the last sticky gauze dressing) and even when she's told she'll have to fast for ~8 hours before/after her next intrathecal (requires sedation).

We had a lovely time with Andy's parents who came to see us (earlier than they otherwise would have done because of Selina).  They appreciated seeing how our life looks these days and also comforted at how vibrant and well Selina seems.
